Lower Body / Leg Day 3/15/2025

I used one of those preworkouts today. This one was from Animal. A bit much caffeine, but it worked. Good gains today.

I started with a set of light leg extensions, leg curls, leg press calf and bar only RDLs. Then I continued with warmups and hitting the heavy weights:

RDL: 135 x5, 245 x3, 345 x5, 345 x5 (+2)
Front Squats: 95x4, 115x4, 155 x4, 155 x3 (+2)
I didn't do the heavy holds today .. and my form broke down on that second set. I was sweating and the bar was moving.
New LP Calf: +270 x6, +6300 x4, +770 x4, +770 x5 (+2)

Single Leg Ext: 50x4, 77.5 x6, 77.5 x6 (+2)
Lying Leg Curl: 120 x3+, 115 x4 (+0)
LP Calf: 770 x6, 770 x6 (+2)

Knees over towes work for 3 sets of 20
Hanging Leg Raise: 25# ball x20, 20, 20
Reverse Hyper 450 x8, 8, 8
Some hopping

Sled sprints using a 160 lbs x8
10 minutes on the elliptical

This was a great workout. I did shot video which added about 10 minutes to the time. I want to get that to less impact on the total time. This felt great.

My diet yesterday was good. I stated the day with full-fat yogurt and protein before early morning workout. Post workout I had 0.4 oz of bison liver, 0.5 oz of oysters, a can of sardines, 10 oz of ground bison / beef mix and 4 eggs. Meal 2 was 10 oz of ground bison / beef mix and 4 eggs. Meal 3 was a bison sirloin steak and 4 eggs. About 2 hours before bed I had a double servign of full fat yogurt and protein.

I walked 17,874 steps yesterday. My weight this morning was 184.4 pounds and total bodyfat was 14.8 pounds. That can't be right, but I'll say the trend is leaner. I feel I need to add some food each day.
