The Wearable Market

I don’t have numbers for the overall wearable market, but Strategy Analytics recently released this report for the global smartwach: Global Smartwartch Vendor Makret Share by Region: Q4 2018.

This is just anidotal, but I sure see a lot of Apple watch when I am out an around. What surprised me about this report is how small the market share is for Fitbit. Here is a chart form the report, and you can see what I am. Talking about.

The most impressive thing in this report is the overall grown of the smartwatch market. Shipments are up over 56% year over year, in the fourth quarter. That is imporessive for any market.
