Data Via Light?

I saw this on the Verge today: Philips Hue company announces lights that bean data at 250 Mbps. I’m not sure this has a lot of applications, but it would be great in an office setting. Perhaps it could work in a home too.

The underlying technology is not new, but this sounds really good. Lets see how well they can commercialize this one.
