Lower Body Day 8/6/2024

It was a good leg day. I felt great and my mental game was on target. This was my deadlift day. My PR is 400, and since the mini-cut I have been struggling to get smooth deadlifts that felt good. Today was a super great day. I will keep adding reps or weight to get back to a new PR. I hope to do it as this current level of leanness and body weight. We will see, but this was a great day at the gym.

Trap Bar DL:: 140x10, 230x4, 320x1, 360x3, 360 x3, 360 x3
True Leg Ext: 40 x15, 85 x6, 175 x4, 260 x5, 260 x5, 260 x5
Seated Calves:90 x20, 140x8, 200x5, 282.5x5, 282.5x5, 282.5x5

I do a lot of warmups when I am doing deadlifts. Also, note that the trap bar I use weights 50 lbs instead of 45.. As in other days, I do this as a giant set.

Smith Machine Squats (deep): 125 x4, 125 x4, 125 x4
Standing Single-Leg Curl: 62.5 x5, 62.5 x4, 62.5 x4
LP Calves: 237x10, 237 x10, 237 x 11

I finished up with 3 sets of Reverse Hypers, hanging leg raises, and then some sled sprints. I also did 10 minutes on the elliptical machine.
