Lower Body / Leg day 9/3/2024
The goal today was to move the weights back up but not to my max levels. I wanted to test my back to make sure it’s healed or at least progressing. Here is the workout:
Trap Bar Deadlift: 140x10, 230x4, 320x1, 330 x4, 330 x4, 330 x4 Older Leg Ext: 30 x15, 60 x5, 90 x4, 160 x7, 160 x7, 160 x7
Seated Calves:90 x20, 140x8, 200 x4, 300 x4, 300 x4, 300 x4
Smith Machine Squats (deep): 135 x5, 135 x4, 130 x4
Standing Single-Leg Curl: 65 x4-, 60 x4-, 60 x4
LP Calves: 266 x10, 266 x10, 266 x10
Reverse Hyper Light today .. 180 x 10, 10, 10
Hanging leg lifts +20# x 8, +20# x8, +20# x8
I had not discomfort in my back yesterday, last night or this morning. The weights above felt heavy, but I was able to work the full range of motion. I did notice some detraining but I was still happy to see a little progress in a few excercises. Moving forward I will work back to my heavy lifts.
Body composition is great right now. Still holding at between 8 and 9%, but trend is run stable.
